Aussies in London is a community set up to help Australians in London. The community exists on Facebook and Instagram and focuses on running events, helping the community, and promoting businesses that support Aussies.

Ben moved to the UK in 2015 and took over running Aussies in London in 2017. Ben is a financial adviser and a mortgage broker and runs AiL on a complete volunteer basis because he wants to help his fellow Aussies!

Clint Heine – Kiwis in London

Clint Heine has run Kiwis in London for ten years. In the beginning the community focus was on younger Kiwis making the move to the U.K. and utilising fast-growing social media platforms to get news & information to users quickly. However, this has grown to the wider kiwi professional community living in London and the UK. Clint was a careers advisor for 8 years before moving this service to a purely online platform. Heralding from Nelson, Clint has been in London since 2003 and is based between the U.K. and Poland.

Caitlin Mahon

Having never left NZ before, and Coronavirus putting a long pause on her plans to leave Invercargill for the first time, Caitlin took the plunge and moved to London in August 2021. A Chartered Accountant by trade, she managed to lock down a job and a flat before heading to England and hasn’t looked back since touching down. Despite media misconception surrounding Covid-19, Caitlin has ticked off over 15 new countries since leaving home and is enjoying making the most of her Tier 5 Visa and everything the London lifestyle has to offer. With NZ now having to adjust to living with the virus, rather than working against it, Caitlin reckons now is the prime time to book your one-way ticket.
