SA looks to women workers
The South African government is pushing for women to fill the skills gap in the labour market, it was revealed
Hundreds of female graduates will be sent to the United Arab Emirates in a bid to streamline them into trades facing a future shortage of workers, like construction, tourism, trade and industry and civil service. The Middle Eastern country has booming construction and infrastructure industries.
The programme is part of the Accelerated Shared Growth Initiative Strategy (ASGISA), as part of the government's ZAR350 billion (approximately £32 billion) investment into infrastructure and development.
