What time does the Emigrate Liverpool open and close to the public?
The Show opens on Saturday at 9.30am and closes at 5pm and on Sunday the show opens at 9.30am and closes at 4pm.

Is there car parking on site? And is this free?
Yes there is parking on site close to the hall, and this is free of charge. 

Which is the closest train station and how far is this from the venue?
Aintree station is the closest, and is adjacent to the racecourse, so within easy walking distance.

Are the exhibitions indoors even at the racecourses?
Yes all exhibitions are indoors.

Should I bring a copy of my CV with me?
We would advise you to bring a copy of your CV and any other information that you feel relevant, now's the time to get all those questions answered!

Do I need a ticket to get entry?
Yes you must have either purchased a ticket in advance or on the day at the reception desk. Adult tickets are priced at £8, or £7 if purchased in advance. Children under £16 are admitted free.

Do you accept credit cards as payment for tickets?
Yes we accept all major credit cards.

If the show is very busy, will I still get in to it?
Yes the hall is large and you will get into the show without any problem.

Are tickets refundable if we can't attend the show?
Tickets are non-refundable; we can however transfer them to another exhibition later in the year.

What if I can't attend the show on the day for which I booked my ticket?
Tickets are valid for EITHER Saturday or Sunday, however Presentation Passes are only valid for the day stated on the ticket. If you are unable to attend on this day then please contact us on 01323 726040 to arrange a replacement.

Do senior citizens and students get a discount on entrance tickets or Presentation Passes?
No. All ticket prices are kept to an absolute minimum.

Are children welcome at the exhibition?
Yes we welcome children of all ages, but please note these shows can be very busy.

Is there a crèche or any similar facilities on site for us to leave our children whilst we are at the exhibition?
No. However, we do try to include some form of fun for our young visitors.

What happens if I lose my child?
Please go to the main Emigrate stand or reception and desk and we will broadcast an announcement immediately and assist in relocating your child.

What is a Presentation Pass?
Presentation Passes allow you into any presentations you may wish to attend. Many of the presentations include the opportunity to ask questions of the panel of experts. So, take advantage of these valuable opportunities. They cost £5 per adult and one ticket will allow you into as many presentations as you like. Under 16's are free.
 
Do I need a Presentation Pass?
You do not need a Presentation Pass to enter the main exhibition hall. However if you want to attend any of the presentations you will need one of these passes. The pass entitles you to attend any number of presentations during that day.

How long do presentations tend to last?
Presentations vary on depending on the country and subject covered, but on average last 30 minutes.

Once I have entered the exhibition am I able to leave and return later in the day?
Yes, this is not a problem, as long as you are returning on the same day, and have a re-admittance slip, which you can get from the Outbound Reception stands as you leave.

Who is exhibiting at the exhibitions?
Exhibitors include some long haul destination governments, regional and government departments, recruiters, migration specialists, removal firms, money exchange companies and relocation agents mainly from Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Are there disabled facilities?
Yes. There is disabled access to the venue; there are also disabled toilets at the venue.

Can I bring my dog along with me?
We would advise you didn't as the hall is all enclosed and can get very busy, so not a great place for your dog. But PLEASE DO NOT leave your dog in the car, dogs die in hot cars!

What happens if I lose anything?
Anything found will be handed in to the Emigrate reception desks at the entrance, and kept here until collected.

Are there toilets at the venues?
Yes there are plenty at the venue.

Is there a cash point on site?
Yes. However there is a charge for each transaction of £2.05.

Are there public telephones on site?
There are no pay phones in the exhibition area, but there are some located in the adjacent building The Princess Royal Stand.

Are there cloakrooms on site?
No.

Are there any catering facilities on site for snacks or for lunch?
Yes there is a café on site offering hot food, sandwiches or just a snack.

• Remember to ask as many questions as possible at the show. Now's the time to get all those unanswered questions answered - no matter how insignificant you feel they are! Exhibitors understand you may be apprehensive, so don't be frightened to ask them anything you need to know.
