Emigrate Shows Marketing
Each and every Emigrate show benefits from an individual tailored marketing and promotional campaign that is meticulously prepared and implemented. Tried and tested routes to market, such as television, radio and press, are always considered and evaluated, but we are constantly seeking out new ways to reach our target audiences.
Using innovative and highly targeted marketing and promotional campaigns featuring Google for instance, we aim not only to deliver a good quantity of visitors, but pride ourselves on delivering extremely high quality as well.
Television advertising, when used, allows us to reach large audiences, and selecting premium prime time spots enables us to maximise this all shows. Of course we understand that quality of visitors is key. To further ensure the quality of our visitors we target key sectors such as engineers, teachers, construction workers and medical staff, delivering highly focused, skilled individuals. An example of how we do this, is to use appropriate trade media such as The Engineer, Professional Builder, New Civil Engineer, Nursing Times and Report Magazine, coupled with a range of more traditional media. We also invest heavily in Google paid search to help us target specific skill sets.
With the support of our parent company, Johnston Press, owners of over 300 local newspapers throughout the UK including iconic brands such as The Scotsman and Yorkshire Post, we are able to access unrivalled promotional support for our shows in local markets. Blanket advertising runs alongside press releases enabling us to reach up to 7 million readers a week.
In addition to the advertising and promotion that we do, exhibitors arriving at the show to set up may find themselves being interviewed by local radio stations, or talking to a journalist from the National Press as the PR surrounding the show kicks in, creating a real buzz. For example, BBC TV Scotland regularly film at our shows and ITV recorded for a Tonight show at Sandown.
