HVAC Technician
Fort McMurray, AB (Canada)
Responsibilities
You will read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications; measure and lay out reference points for installation; assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, including motors, controls, gauges, valves, pumps, condensers and compressors; diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions; measure and cut piping and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment; install, repair and maintain combined heating and cooling units; start up system and test for leaks; recharge system with refrigerant; perform routine maintenance or servicing; repair and replace parts and components or overhaul entire refrigeration, air conditioning or heat pump systems; and prepare client work estimates.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of work experience, completion of 4-year apprenticeship program, a valid Certificate of Qualification, skill in using hand and power tools, and an HSD.
