Early Childhood Director (Non Teaching)

Our client is the largest community based Children's Services provider in NSW offering care and education to children aged 0 to 5. They are in urgent need of a EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTRE DIRECTOR for their centre located centrally in the CBD close to transport, shops and cafes. You will provide leadership to a large team of staff catering to 66 children aged 0 to 5. The childcare centre operates from 7:30am to 6:15pm. The organisation provides lots of support through their Children's Services Coordinators and professional development. The ideal person will have experience in leading a team of Early Childhood Professionals. You will have excellent communication skills, superior conflict resolution skills and sound administration skills. You will be someone who has extensive knowledge of the sector and able to 'lead by example'. You will be provided with administration support and a 2IC Early Childhood Teacher. Your shift will be 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Corrosion Chemistry

This position will be part of the Western Australian Corrosion Research Group (WACRG) as a portion of the University's contribution to this important area of research. The appointee to this position is expected to provide expertise and to contribute to collaborative teaching and research in the area of corrosion. They will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision in corrosion and related areas and undertake and publish internationally competitive research.
Benefits and Remuneration: The salary ranges presented are those which are contained within the University's Certified Agreements. An individual may negotiate an alternative salary arrangement under an Australian Workplace Agreement (AWA).

Wood and Metal Teacher

This school requires a TAS teacher who can teach Wood and Metal work. You would be required to teach mainly years 8 to 10 plus there may also be some year 11 and 12 classes. The town of Kojonup is located on the western side of the lower great southern region on the Albany Highway about 260km from Perth. The population of Kojonup is approximately 2,200, spread over the rural (mixed farming, with emphasis on sheep and coarse grains, with cattle also being significant) and urban (service industries and manufacturing) areas. Traditionally the school population has been stable with only a small turnover. Students live on family operated farms travelling to and from school on 11 contract school buses. Many students live up to 50km from school with the remainder residing within the town area.

The centre is a not for profit community based centre and is licensed for 53 children per day. Staff parking is available and the centre is a short walk from the train station. The position available is to work with the pre-schoolers. You will be responsible for overseeing the programming and planning for the room. The centre follows the emergent curriculum practices so a knowledge of this would be beneficial. You will have time away from the floor to fulfill the programming duties.
