Processing time

This category is not a permanent residence visa, but it provides nine months to start a business in New Zealand. After this time, if you wish to apply for permanent residency, you can go on to apply under the entrepreneur visa category. If you need to stay in New Zealand longer to establish your business, is it possible to apply for another long term business visa or permit, although it must be done before the existing visa expires. The principal applicant can include their partner and dependent children, providing they meet the language, health and character requirements.
